What is Trowas Digital Card? What Does It Do?

Trowas digital card is a simple, smart and sustainable way to transfer your information with NFC and QR technology to the people you meet. It allows you to share your personal or business information with people you just met with one touch and easily save your information on their phones.

How does a digital business card work?

Trowas digital cards contain a chip that works with NFC technology. When you bring the card closer to the phone, a pop-up appears on the screen. The user clicks on the pop-up that opens and saves the information in the business card on his/her phone. For old model phones without NFC feature, simply scan the QR code on the card with the camera and click on the link that opens.

Where and how do I add my logo and name to my card?

A QR code containing your name and information is printed on the front of the card and your logo design is printed on the back of the card. When ordering your card at https://trowas.com/en/shop, you can customize your card by adding your information before adding it to the cart. How do I activate my card?

After receiving your card, start the installation by touching the digital business card to your phone. When you touch your card to your phone for the first time, the screen where you can add your information will appear in the link that opens. After adding and saving your information, your card will be activated. You can update your information at any time.

Can I update the information on my digital business card?

Yes, you can always update your information. After activating your card, you will be able to update your contact information at any time in your account control panel. The changes you make are instantly applied to your card in real time.

Do Trowas Digital Business Cards work on my phone properly ?

If you have a smartphone, the answer is definitely yes. All iPhone models XR and later (September, 2018) and approximately 90% of Android phones are NFC-enabled. Additionally, as a backup, all smartphones, both Apple and Android, have a built-in QR code scanner. Just turn on the camera and point it at the QR code existed on each Trowas card. How do Trowas digital business cards work?

Inside each Trowas card is an NFC chip that wirelessly sends your information to a phone. When you tap the card on a compatible phone with NFC , a contact field appears with all your information automatically pre-filled. The owner of the phone just needs to press the "save" button. (A QR code is also existed on the back of each Trowas card to ensure compatibility with older smartphone devices without NFC compatibility.)

What materials are Trowas cards made of?

The Trowas digital business card is made of premium recyclable plastic that is durable and waterproof. Our cards are robust and flexible. Additionally, the matte finish adds a premium feel that is incomparable to most cards on the market today. The NFC chip inside is supplied from 1st class suppliers. We also offer responsibly sourced Birch or Bamboo wood cards and Metal cards made of stainless steel.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Orders are processed almost daily. Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days of placing your order. Special product orders can take up to 10 days to ship.

What is Trowas's privacy policy?

We do not ask for any private information or social media login information from our users. You can share as much or as little information as you want in your Trowas profile. Digital Business Card profiles are public landing pages that hold your information and make it easily shareable with people you meet.

What should I do if my card is stolen or lost?

To get support when your card is stolen or lost, you can deactivate your card by contacting us at trowas.com/en/contact . You can also disable your card by turning off "Profile Visibility" in the administration panel.
